After school in "new" buildings
During 2020 the Restore construction team was working to renovate buildings for our After School programs in both Saros and Seleus. We are so happy to announce that we now have started to use both the buildings! It's great that we can have the children coming to good facilities to help them with their school work. We are so thankful to God for providing for us, but also to everyone who has been part of the renovation. We can already see that this provides new opportunities for us to take more children and to let them work in a better "school" environment.

In Saros we have already done After School in the new building since December. The room is very nice and decorated like a classroom. We serve around 40 kids in Saros and they are all in the classes 1 to 4. Every day it comes 15-16 kids split in two groups. The kids come and help with their homework and a bible story. We also sometimes help kids that need clothes or school materials. The building has more rooms that we want to renovate in the future to be able to have the kids more than once a week and also to do a more various program with teaching practical skills like music instruments, baking and crafts.

In Seleus we just started to use the building this week. There is still work to do outside, but the inside is looking great! We have three classrooms for three different age groups. The smallest kids have a room designed for their needs with small tables and chairs, while the older ones have proper desks like in school. The rooms are also great for programs for toddlers, youth groups and to teach the roma people basic life skills.
Our After School program in Seleus serves around 80 kids, and is a vital part of helping them progress in their work. Some of the kids are doing very well, while other are far behind and need help from us to catch up with what the teachers teach them in school. We are grateful that we get to be part of lifting the education level to see the village transformed in the future!
